I have tried several times with different cables to get my Sony Bravia to accept the signal from my Toshiba Laptop running Windows 8. I connect the Laptop to the Sony using a HDMI cable have tried several, just to make sure its not a cable issue. I selected the FN4 button, select "Duplicate", the laptop screen shrinks as it shouldbut there is no image on the TV. I have tried both Sony Bravia's at home using all of the available HDMI ports and input selections with no luck. I have adjusted the screen resolution and also tried rebooting the laptop and changing the sequence of turning on the TV and Laptop.
